Changing Seasons Spring -- Terry Redlin
Spring
Spring is the season between winter and summer. The Northern Hemisphere, which consists of the northern half of the earth, has spring weather during late March, April, May, and early June. In the Southern Hemisphere, spring weather begins about September and ends by early December.
Spring weather begins throughout much of North America with the melting of winter snow. In the polar regions, spring weather begins later and does not last a long as it does in the middle parts of the Northern Hemisphere. Tropical regions do not have great seasonal changes.
The number of daylight hours increases during spring, and most spring days have higher temperatures than winter days. Nature awakens in spring, when flowers bloom and hibernating animals leave their winter sleeping places. In many countries, the people have festivals celebrating spring. from World Book

Suddenly Springtime
With spirit steeped in wintry chill
Weary of ice and snow,
I crossed the bridge of the seasons
Where time's swift waters flow.
And suddenly it was springtime!
Far as the eye could see
Wild flower's of the field and wood
Nodded and smiled at me -
Sweet baby blue forget-me-nots
And lady's slippers, too,
Tri-petaled trilliums, buttercup,
Old friends that I once knew -
While here and there, tucked in between
The roots and boulders bare,
Sparkled dew-kissed Johnny-jump-ups
With jewels in their hair.

Heaven's Composition
Hush!
I hear a waterfall,
The breath of spring,
A crocus quaking,
A jonquil waking,
A lily bending,
Now I hear them blending,
In God's never-ending
Symphony.
